12 - 2 Checked water RRG, saw Bison on ridge in northeast corner of pasture. Saw a few prairie dogs even though it was a cold frosty day. We commented that this is different that it was a few years ago as the Prairie Dogs used to hibernate and you didn’t see them in the winter, especially on a day like this.

!2 - 3 Saw Bison today on west side of pasture.

12 - 8 Saw Bison today.

12- 9 Checked water RRG did not see bison.

12- 10 and 11 Got light snow these two days.

!2 - 13 Saw Bison from road CC today12 - 16 Checked water on RRG. Did not see bison but checked tracks by water tank and they had been up to drink.

12 - 18 Saw Bison today from road DD

12 - 20 Saw Bison today from road CC

12 - 22 Snowed again today.

12 - 23 Checked water RRG. Bison were by corral so got a good look at them.

12 -30 Checked water RRG and saw Bison out in center of pasture.

It has been cold and there have been several light snows this month. Nothing unusual has been happening. As cold as it is, the Bison don’t drink as much water so we only check about once a week. As you can see, we have seen the bison several times a week all month. Did not make it up to Fresh Tracks but, we can see it from our north pasture and apparently there has been no activity up there. It has just been too cold and disagreeable for people to be out, and there are no cattle close to Fresh Tracks right now.
