Mar.  4 – It looks like spring today!  It is sunny and nice, ducks are on the pond, the cranes are heading north, the crocus are blooming, and the eagle is on her nest.  I think I told you last fall that I pass an eagle nest on the way to Fresh Tracks and that the nest has fallen down.  The eagles built a new nest higher up in the same tree.  Fresh Tracks and RRG had no activity.

Mar.  8 – Rained 2 ½ inches and the roads are bad.

Mar.  11 – Drove through FT on road JJ.  All is well.  Checked part of fence between FT and Robbins.  Saw a few Prairie Dogs on RRG and a hawk flying over.

Mar.  13—Drove along  fence on west side of FT.  Fence was down below big pond and needed repair in a couple of other spots. Still have gate across road JJ between FT and Robbins where the county filled in the cattle guard.

Mar.  14 –Repaired fence where needed put in new posts and steeples.  No activity on RRG

Mar.  16—Snowed an inch or two today

Mar.  20 – Badger ran across road JJ in front of me as I went through FT.  See quite a few antelope in the area.

Mar.  25 –Snowed  last night.  Lots of coyote tracks in the snow – they have been out hunting.

Robbins put cattle in about the middle of the month  - had fences in good shape by then.  Has been a cold and wet month.
