FRESH TRACKS AND RRG LOG – September 2009
Sept 4—Drove through both Fresh Tracks and RRG. All okay
Sept 12—Drove through Fresh Tracks on Road JJ and through RRG on road DD. Saw several Pronghorns in the area. Wild Flowers are blooming and are beautiful. One sad note to report: I mentioned some time ago about the eagle nest that I watch on my way to check Fresh Tracks - as I went by today I noticed it had fallen down. We had strong winds a couple of nights ago and that nest was big and heavy as it had been there many years. Apparently the weight of it and the wind caused the limb to break and it fell.
Sept 15—Checked RRG from west side.
Sept 21 – Checked RRG from road DD. Drove along east side of Fresh Tracks on road 6. Someone’s cattle had been out, but, due to your new fence, they did not get into Fresh Tracks!
Sept 26 –Checked RRG from south. All okay. Prairie Dogs out today.
Sept 27 – Drove through Fresh Tracks on road JJ. Hundreds of Monarch Butterflies in the area as they are migrating south.
